How To Get Pregnant In Effective Way

Although, pregnancy is a natural process yet, here are some tips that can make your attempts at getting pregnant effective:

Choosing the right time:

Firstly, you need to understand the process of ovulation and how it affects the process of getting pregnant. Every month in your ovary an egg gets matured which is then released on maturing. This release of egg by ovary is called ovulation. After release the egg goes through the fallopian tube where it gets fertilized with sperm (if there is a sperm). After fertilization it gets implanted in the uterus.

Now, the important thing to understand is that an ovule lives for 12-24 hours in a fallopian tube. Whereas a sperm once entered in the female body survives for 4-5 days. Which means the ideal time to have an intercourse with your partner is days before or during ovulation. Hence, the most important factor is to choose the right time. Here are some ways to track the ovulation which can make you identify the right timings.

  • Keep record of your menstrual cycle:

Ovulation happens 12-14 days before your next periods. By keeping record of the days you menstruate you can track your expected ovulation days easily. Having said that for this you need to have a regular cycle. With disturbed and irregular cycles it will be hard to predict ovulation.

  • Track cervical mucus:

Right before ovulation mucus in your vagina increases. It also gets thinner and clearer. By constantly checking cervical mucus you can track your ovulation period. According to one study published in the journal of fertility and sterility, women who keep checking their cervical mucus are more prone to get pregnant within six month.

  • Ovulation predicting kits:

Now, ovulation kits are available. These kits are like pregnancy kits. You will have to urinate on them on days when you are expected to ovulate according to your menstrual cycle. If the result is positive you can have intercourse so that sperm gets into your body on the time of ovulation which will increase the chance of fertilization. You can easily get these kits from any pharmacy.

Lifestyle changes:

If you plan to conceive, then other than choosing right timings you need to adapt a healthy lifestyle. With a healthy lifestyle you are more likely to get pregnant. Here are some things you need to work on before you get pregnant:
