Gulabo Sitabo Released On Amazon Prime

On Friday evening, Bollywood new movie ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ realesed worldwide. In normal times, we would have flocked to the Cinema Hall for our Friday new releases. However, the lockdown to stop the spread of corona virus, has taken our this option as they are closed.

This doesn’t mean that we don’t have any other options to catch a new release. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and rising star Ayushmann Khurrana Starer “Gulabo Sitabo”, a light-hearted comedy, was released on Amazon Prime. Shoojit Sircar is the director of the movie.

Further, more movies are scheduled to be released on Amazon prime including Shakuntala Devi, a Hindi biopic of a famous Indian female mathematician.

However, it doesn’t give you the same feeling as watching a Friday release in the cinema. But we need to accept the fact that we may not able to watch movie in theatre any time soon.

What To Expect From This Movie?

Gulabo Sitabo is based in modern-day Lucknow, the north Indian city once known for its aristocrats and magnificent mansions that would resonate with music, dance and poetry,

Bollywood Superstar, Big B, has played the role of Mirza – an old curmudgeon in the movie. He is looking after his wife’s old Mansions while Ayushmann Khurrana plays one of his tenants, the cantankerous Bankey.

The movie is all about the rift between Mirza and Bankey on rent. Bankey fails to pay the rent on time and Mirza finds different ways of creating chaos. As the story begin, introduction of an archaelogoist makes movie funnier and interesting.

The movie has a very important message about human greed but with a light humour. Both Amitabh and Ayushmann acting performance is top-notch and the supporting actors add more to it.

In this movie, if you are expecting lots of action, suspense and thrill then this is the not the best choice for you. Gulabo Sitabo has light humor and you can enjoy with your families, more or less similar like ‘Piku’.
